Gary Fewell - Lead
I first started singing Southern Gospel music in 1976 with the Jones Chapel singers. In 1978 I became a charter member of a quartet called “The Spiritualaires”. In 1991 God called me to pastor the Jones Chapel Church of the Nazarene. I and three other men formed a gospel group from the church know as the Brothers in Christ (B.I.C.). In 2003 I left B.I.C. and started singing solo. Then in December 2008 the group known as In His Image was formed. God has richly been blessing this group of singers. My desire is to continue to preach the Good News of Salvation and share the Gospel in song. My walk with Christ grows sweeter and sweeter each day.
Jerry Wayne Wise, Jr. (better know as Bubba) - Tenor
I’ve heard many people tell me that at age 4 I told the preacher that someday I would become a preacher. Well, I guess in someway I’m doing that. I started singing at age 8 in church. I’ve sang with various small groups at church, but in 2000 I started singing with Brothers In Christ, going and spreading the message to others until 2006. I’m a member of Jones Chapel and have been since 1992. But up until the last couple of years my life with Christ has really started growing. I thank God for everything he has given me in my life, especially the gift of song. At the end of 2008 when my life wasn’t going good, In His Image was started and in the words of a great man “It keeps getting gooder and gooder” I hope that we keep getting blessed, but most of all I hope we continue to bless others.
Bill Reitmeyer - Baritone
My name is Bill Reitmeyer. I have been involved with music most of my life, either as a listener or a participant and I seem to have the most fun being a participant. I’ve had the privilege to serve as minister of music, direct youth and adult choirs, teach guitar and participate in several mass choirs. God has filled me with a great love and passion for music that expresses the message of hope, love and salvation that only He can provide. I made the decision many years ago to honor Him by using the gifts and talents He gave me, and He has continuously blessed me by opening doors of ministry and opportunity to share the love of Jesus . He answered one of my prayers with In His Image. I am blessed beyond measure with the opportunity to minister through music with men of like faith and purpose, who love the Lord and also desire to spread the “Good News” through Southern Gospel Music. My desire is to serve Him by being His vessel. To God be the glory, honor and praise. Shalom, Bill
Tommy Vest - Bass
I was born into a Southern Gospel family, The Vest Quartet, who sang for many years. I started singing bass at the age of 19. I sang with several groups, but in 1993, started singing with a Gospel group in Alabama where I lived. I sang with them until 2011 when I felt God was ready for me to move on. Little did I know God had plans to move me from Alabama where I lived in the same county all of my 45 years! He brought me to Tennessee where I was blessed to be asked to sing with the Godly group of men called In His Image. I am the Father of 3 loving children and 1 Granddaughter. I thank God for allowing me to be a part of In His Image, but I am most blessed to be a part of the family of God.
